Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Rachel bore witness to the structural inequities that inflicted injustice and trauma on the country’s poorest communities. At the age of 12, she began her lifelong journey as a fundraising leader committed to helping nonprofit groups achieve their mission and sustainably deliver impactful programming and services.
Rachel’s unyielding commitment has led her to collaborate with more than 500 nonprofit organizations to build their fundraising knowledge, strengthen their processes, find loyal donors often overlooked in communities, and diversify their funding using innovative practices. She has also partnered with more than 120 foundations to build grantees’ fundraising capacities and increase their sustainability through her inclusive No More Duct Tape Fundraising school and coaching sessions. While Rachel is an accomplished Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), her unmatched impact is due to her courage, servant leadership, and experience.
